Home Delivery Service at Graves-Hume Public Library
Are you unable to leave home, but would still love to get library books, movies, and more? You could benefit from the Library's FREE Home Delivery Service. The Library delivers materials to Mendota Library District residents of all ages who cannot leave home because of a physical condition, or weather circumstances. We will deliver to homes, apartments and nursing homes. We will deliver to your residence if you are home bound on a temporary or long-term basis. For example, a child with a broken leg, caring for a newborn, recovering from surgery, or ice on the ground. The Library will deliver all kinds of books, from bestsellers to paperbacks and large print. You can also borrow DVDs, audiobooks, CDs, and magazines. If interested, call the Library to speak with either Pam or Emily at 815-538-5142; indicate you are looking for home delivery. Staff will assist you in getting a library card (if you do not have one), schedule a delivery time for you and ask questions that will help guide us in selecting books, movies, and more especially for you. Graves-Hume Public Library aspires to make resources and materials available to all members of it's community - including those unable to visit the Library.
